Practice Groups
Our Novel Materials, Devices, and Applied Physics Practice Group is a team of forward-thinking domain specialists, many with Ph.D.’s, who have both industry and legal expertise. In addition to the hundreds of patents they have obtained for our clients in related fields, many of our group members are inventors in their own right, with 181 patents issued to them collectively.
Representative technologies that fall under the Novel Materials, Device and Applied Physics group include photonics such as lasers, solid state lighting, and displays; semiconductor devices including devices for flexible electronics, organic semiconductors, photonic, photovoltaic, and quantum devices, and spintronics based devices; devices for digital and quantum communications and computing; imaging devices; 3-D printing; sensors including quantum sensors; other nanotechnology; and bioscience including medical imaging.
